Slovenians like to emphasize that, in terms of population, we are one of the most sporty nations in the world. Sport is not just a competition – it is a value, it is education, it is a way of thinking. And this is exactly the story that has been written for many years.

Your thoughtful work with young people is based on a clear awareness that it is not possible to be the best in all categories, especially when resources are limited. But it is precisely this focus, professionalism and patience that make you among the most successful. You invest in knowledge, in relationships, in long-term development – and the results are visible.
The medals at the world championships won by Rok Benkovič and Anže Lanišek, and the culmination with Anže Lanišek's Olympic gold, are proof that you know how to recognize talent and hone it into a champion. Undoubtedly, SSK Mengeš is also the club that, considering the number of competitors, has won the most medals in Slovenia and certainly in the world - an achievement that speaks volumes about the quality of your work.
But something else is especially important: inspiration for young people. Children and adolescents who today follow ski jumping with admiration see an opportunity in your club. They see a path. They see an environment where talent is not only noticed, but carefully guided, professionally supported and humanly understood.
If you asked me where the center is where talent is honed into champions, I would recommend SSK Mengeš without hesitation. Not just because of the medals, but because of the values, knowledge, and dedication that stand behind them.
